The 2011 Import and Export Market for Machinery for Making Hot Drinks or for Cooking or Heating Foods in Ireland

The 2011 Import and Export Market for Machinery for Making Hot Drinks or for Cooking or Heating Foods in Ireland Review

See more picture

On the demand side, exporters and strategic planners focusing on machinery for making hot drinks or for cooking or heating foods in Ireland face a number of questions. Which countries are supplying machinery for making hot drinks or for cooking or heating foods to Ireland? How important is Ireland compared to others in terms of the entire global and regional market? How much do the imports of machinery for making hot drinks or for cooking or heating foods vary from one country of origin to another in Ireland? On the supply side, Ireland also exports machinery for making hot drinks or for cooking or heating foods. Which countries receive the most exports from Ireland? How are these exports concentrated across buyers? What is the value of these exports and which countries are the largest buyers?

This report was created for strategic planners, international marketing executives and import/export managers who are concerned with the market for machinery for making hot drinks or for cooking or heating foods in Ireland. With the globalization of this market, managers can no longer be contented with a local view. Nor can managers be contented with out-of-date statistics which appear several years after the fact. I have developed a methodology, based on macroeconomic and trade models, to estimate the market for machinery for making hot drinks or for cooking or heating foods for those countries serving Ireland via exports, or supplying from Ireland via imports. It does so for the current year based on a variety of key historical indicators and econometric models.

In what follows, Chapter 2 begins by summarizing where Ireland fits into the world market for imported and exported machinery for making hot drinks or for cooking or heating foods. The total level of imports and exports on a worldwide basis, and those for Ireland in particular, is estimated using a model which aggregates across over 150 key country markets and projects these to the current year. From there, each country represents a percent of the world market. This market is served from a number of competitive countries of origin. Based on both demand- and supply-side dynamics, market shares by country of origin are then calculated across each country market destination. These shares lead to a volume of import and export values for each country and are aggregated to regional and world totals. In doing so, we are able to obtain maximum likelihood estimates of both the value of each market and the share that Ireland is likely to receive this year. From these figures, rankings are calculated to allow managers to prioritize Ireland compared to other major country markets. In this way, all the figures provided in this report are forecasts that can be combined with internal information sources for strategic planning purposes.

This digital document is an article from ASHRAE Transactions, published by American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers, Inc. on July 1, 2010. The length of the article is 4854 words. The page length shown above is based on a typical 300-word page. The article is delivered in HTML format and is available immediately after purchase. You can view it with any web browser.

From the author: The central thrust of this paper is to introduce the concept of a balanced flow Dedicated Outdoor Air System (DOAS) integrated, physically and functionally, with a pressurization unit. The incentives for this concept include: improved total energy recovery (TER) equipment efficiency, lower first cost, no increase in the installation cost, reduced fan parasitic energy use, predictable building pressurization performance, and a very modest additional first cost for reserve capacity. This may be the next step in the migration path toward improved performance at reduced first cost for DOASs

The page length shown above is based on a typical 300-word page. The article is delivered in HTML format and is available in your Amazon.com Digital Locker immediately after purchase. From the supplier: Building owners and managers should focus on preventive maintenance rather than breakdown maintenance when it comes to their heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. Spending money only when systems break down is a flawed strategy because it only serves to cut an equipment's lifespan by half or even more. In contrast, preventive maintenance can help property managers and owners avoid unnecessary repairs. It serves as a guard against future breakdowns and costly replacements. Many preventive maintenance measures can easily be implemented. These include draining coils, calibrating controls, cleaning pipeline stainers, changing filters and belts, lubricating motors and inspecting the roof. Other techniques are verifying automation systems, cleaning up mechanical rooms, and keeping a logbook of all repairs, service and breakdowns.

On the demand side, exporters and strategic planners approaching the market in Oceana face a number of questions. Which countries are supplying heating and cooling equipment and parts to Oceana? What is the dollar value of these imports? How much do the imports of heating and cooling equipment and parts vary from one country to another in Oceana? Do exporters serving the market in Oceana have similar market shares across the importing countries? On the supply side, Oceana also sells to the international market of heating and cooling equipment and parts. Which countries in Oceana supply the most exports of heating and cooling equipment and parts? Which countries are buying their exports? What is the value of these exports and which countries are the largest buyers?

This report was created for strategic planners, international marketing executives and import/export managers who are concerned with the market for heating and cooling equipment and parts in Oceana. With the globalization of this market, managers can no longer be contented with a local view. Nor can managers be contented with out-of-date statistics which appear several years after the fact. Icon Group has developed a proprietary methodology, based on macroeconomic and trade models, to estimate the market for heating and cooling equipment and parts for those countries serving Oceana via exports, or supplying from Oceana via imports. We do so for the current year based on a variety of key historical indicators and econometric models.

This digital document is an article from ASHRAE Transactions, published by American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers, Inc. on January 1, 2009. The length of the article is 4512 words. The page length shown above is based on a typical 300-word page. The article is delivered in HTML format and is available immediately after purchase. You can view it with any web browser.

From the author: The exergy value of air entails three contributions: thermal, related to the air temperature; mechanical, related to the air pressure; and chemical, related to the humidity ratio of the air. This paper discusses the importance of the thermal and chemical contributions to the exergy value of moist air in residential buildings in the Dutch climate. This is illustrated by an example of exergy calculations for a ventilation system with air-to-air heat exchange used in building HVAC applications.
